Growing up in a pre-internet world I have always been interested in rapid technological development and its effects on the self and society as a whole. Staying true to my painting background in an ongoing series I am visually revisiting the ideas of natural phenomenon and man made apparatus. Atmospheres, planes, and objects channel familiarity to lead the viewer in different directions whilst underlying landscapes hint at the barren apocalyptic implosion of todays obese information cloud. With an unlimited amount of options for consumers, can our existence be broken down into answering the question of organic or synthetic?
